The DeepDrop® Subsurface Drip Irrigation System installs in 3 easy steps:
- A hole is made about 30 or 40 cm deep.
- We introduce the base support in the hole and cover it with earth.
- We attach the DeepDrop® irrigation dripper to the general irrigation network.

What is the difference between the 2l, 4l or 8l Deepdrop®
Depending on the type of crop, the type of soil and the quality of the water, one dripper or another is recommended, here is a brief summary:
2L DRIPPERS> Horticultural and herbaceous | Clay soils | Good quality water
4L DRIPPERS> Trees | Freeland | Medium quality water
8L DRIPPERS > Trees | Sandy land | Low quality water

For what type of crops can you use DeepDrop®?
DeepDrop® is recommended for a wide type of crops such as orchards, trees in general, nuts, shrubs, home gardens, nurseries, etc.
However, it is not recommended for the grass family such as barley, wheat, corn, rice…

What irrigation system does it adapt to?
The DeepDrop® drip irrigation system adapts to the pipes of traditional drip irrigation systems, these are 16mm or 20mm irrigation tube.
How do you irrigate with DeepDrop®?
Normally 50% less is watered than what you usually do. In any case, each crop requires specific irrigation depending on the type of plantation, the terrain and even the age of the plant. If you wish, we can advise you personally, contact us.
In gardening or agriculture, when the water flows into the root system, do the roots get the DeepDrop® device stuck in the tube inserted in the subsoil?
In our experience this does not happen, but if it did, we would know from the capsule that something is blocking the water from reaching the root. If it were the roots, it would be as simple as moving the tube to another point where the root would not reach.

According to a study carried out using the UNDERGROUND DRIP IRRIGATION SYSTEM DeepDrop® on a mango plantation, it was estimated that up to 50% of water can be saved, that t improves the nutrition of the plant and the nutrient applied, as well as that Maintains an optimum level of moisture, nutrients and aeration of the soil and/or substrate.
Using this drip irrigation system, you can generate significant savings on the bill, improve efficiency in plantations and also reduce the appearance of weeds on the periphery of them. On the other hand, when using our underground irrigation drippers, the evaluation of the system is accommodated due to its transparent head.
It should be noted that thanks to this underground irrigation model, the presence of pests and diseases is reduced, the humidity of the stem and leaves of each plant is reduced, therefore, natural resources are optimized using DeepDrop® drippers.
