After 6 months of installing the DeepDrop® underground irrigation system on his farm, not only had he saved 50% of the water compared to the traditional drip irrigation system he had previously installed, but his trees regained their greenery, even in spite of the aphid infestation that attacks through the leaves of the trees and not from the roots.

Roger Menacho, peach farmer, Moro Moro municipality (Bolivia).

Roger has a farm of 1,000 peach trees in the municipality of Moro Moro, in the Vallegrande province of the department of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. This municipality is characterised by its altitude of 2,600 metres above sea level in a temperate zone. Its peach trees are planted on terraces with rather clayey, clay loam or even rocky soils.

When he sent us a photograph of the state of his trees, they were absolutely dry. It was September 2022 and summer in Bolivia. After a month, Roger sent us a video and photographs of his farm. As you will see, the trees look as if they have been brought back to life.

Roger claims to have saved 70% water compared to the previous drop-by-drop system with integrated drippers. In addition, he says that he has also saved time, as he used to irrigate morning and evening in two different matrixes, whereas with DeepDrop® he has only one irrigation rubber for the whole plantation and the pressure is enough to irrigate the whole plantation, so that nowadays, when he needs to irrigate, it takes him a maximum of 3 hours a day.

In this case DeepDrop® has been installed in a farm of 500 olive trees located in the municipality of Alameda (Malaga). The farmer tells us that since he has introduced this system for his trees, the olives are no longer wrinkled and the leaves look better.

Carlos, avocado farmer in Port d’Andratx, Mallorca (Balearic Islands).

The picture on the left shows one of his trees just at the moment when he put in his new drippers, on the 3rd of August 2022, and the picture on the right shows the same tree 3 months later, on the 13th of October, with a clear bloom and fully green leaves. Carlos is very satisfied with the DeepDrop® system after the strong heat of 2022. In this period of time he has seen his tree grow by half a metre.

Juan, farmer on an olive grove farm, Badajoz (Extremadura)

When Juan contacted us in August, he specifically asked us if the DeepDrop® irrigation system would work for irrigating very hard water with a high magnesium content.

At first Juan tried a sector of his super-intensive olive grove farm. After a short time he decided to extend the area with DeepDrop® because he was very happy with the results.

Gonzalo Cabrera, private garden in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands)

Gonzálo was sent the DeepDrop® underground irrigation devices on the 10th of August. He used them to incorporate them into the garden of his house. The photograph of this lemon tree was sent to us on the 29th of September.

Gonzalo is very happy with the results as he has gone from using 71 m3 before DeepDrop® to 37m3 once DeepDrop® is installed, as it appears on his water bills that he pays every two months. Therefore, Gonzalo has reduced his water consumption by 52%.
